This is a workshop based on the book “How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk” by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish.

This workshop will include a video, hands-on exercises, and lots of discussion where we will learn parenting techniques based on this best-seller. You CAN improve your parenting skills and your relationship with your child by learning a new way to communicate!

Topics will include:

• Coping with negative feelings
• Engaging cooperation
• How to give praise effectively
• Alternatives to punishment and time-outs
• Building self-esteem
