Benefits

Full General Membership entitles you to our monthly newsletter and participation in all Club functions (including general meetings, activities, events, subclubs, outings, playgroups, and babysitting co-op), as well as access to our private online resources. Some functions and services may require an additional fee or contribution.

Privacy

No membership information is shared with any outside organization or with any of our advertisers. You are invited to share your information to get connected and build community with other SCBMC General Members who share your interests. Or, you may choose not to share your information with other members.

Online Access

Full General Membership includes a personal online account for access to private area(s) of our Club Website and the Club Email List, as available. You will be responsible for keeping your own membership information up-to-date and may make changes online to your account information and account preferences at anytime during the term of your membership.

Dues

Annual dues are $40 per year for a Full General Membership. The Club’s annual membership term starts September 1st and ends August 31st. You may join as a new member at anytime during the year.

Dues are prorated quarterly as shown below for NEW members joining at later points during the year:

Join Sep 1 - Nov 30..........Pay $40.00..........for Membership through Aug 31

Join Dec 1 - Feb 28..........Pay $30.00..........for Membership through Aug 31

Join Mar 1 - May 31..........Pay $20.00..........for Membership through Aug 31

Join Jun 1 - Aug 31..........Pay $10.00..........for Membership through Aug 31

Memberships may be renewed on an annual basis each September. Our annual Membership Renewal Drive starts August 15th and an Early Bird Discount of $5 is offered to those who register for or renew a Full General Membership and pay their dues during August.

Full General Membership dues are applied toward facility rental, newsletter publication and distribution, online service fees, and production costs for meetings and events. We also ask that you volunteer at least two hours of your time per year to help with Club functions, activities or services. The Club may waive membership dues in cases of hardship (contact our Membership Coordinator at membership@scbmc.org for more information).

How to Join

Please complete the online membership form by clicking on the “Register Online Now ” link below. You will be asked to read the SCBMC Waiver/Indemnity/Release Agreement and you must agree to the terms listed to receive the benefits of SCBMC Membership. To complete your membership registration, you may pay your dues online using PayPal or you may pay by check via US Postal Service.

The Membership Coordinator will process your registration within 10 business days of receipt of your dues payment. You will be notified via email when your membership is activated.

Alternatively, you may download, print and complete a hard copy Membership Registration Form. Please note that you must sign and return the included SCBMC Waiver/Indemnity/Release Agreement in order for your application to be processed. Mail your application, signed agreement, and check payment for your dues to SCBMC; Attn: Membership; PO Box 462, Belmont, CA 94002. Checks should be made payable to SCBMC. Payments made by check may take several weeks to process, so please be patient.
